Chrome Extension

Threatray offers a Chrome Extension to bring hunting and detection capabilities directly into your browser. Quickly summarize threat reports and blog posts, instantly highlight Threatray detections of hashes and access hunting capabilities with the click of a button.

Key features:

• Get a summary of a threat report
• Enrich a single hash, a selected list of hashes, or all hashes with Threatray detections
• Search by artefacts (file, registry, mutex, command line, URL, IP, domain, malware family name)
• Retro-hunt for similar samples
• Download samples by hash from Threatray
• Submit selected hashes from VT to Threatray

Install the extension from the Chrome web store.

Once installed, open the plugin's options menu (right-click on plugin icon -> Options) and add your realm and API key. Optionally, also add your VT API key. All keys stay in your browser at all times and are not shared with Threatray.
